​“CopaDev”, our soccer tournament

Some time ago I was at an meet up event when a friend tell me, “ Hey, why not organize a soccer tournament to meet people, but in a soccer environment ”. Here born the idea to create a soccer cup.

Is very nice meet people that makes the same as you, and for this purpose exists many options, meet ups, developer events, conferences, courses etc… but it is so different meet people out of this environment.

All the organization starts with a Github Repo, where the guest teams makes a pull requests with their team list, next we contact with soccer fields, and referees and finally decide the dates to play and choose random the teams in each group.

And start the “CopaDev”!, we hope repeat the “DevCup” if it has the impact that we want.

And obviously win it…
